Shipping Methods
We provide a variety of shipping options to meet your delivery needs. Shipping costs are calculated instantly at checkout using live carrier rates based on weight, size, and destination. This ensures the most accurate pricing possible.
Amazon Ground Shipping
Amazon is a reliable carrier, and is an excellent economical option. Transit times aren't guaranteed, but we have found them to be either on time or early most of the time.
UPS Shipping
UPS is a reliable carrier for both ground and expedited shipments. Please note that UPS Overnight services are the only guaranteed delivery options. The UPS shipping methods we offer include:
- UPS Ground
- UPS 2nd Day
- UPS Overnight PM (guaranteed)
- UPS Overnight AM (guaranteed)
USPS Shipping
USPS is available as a fairly economical shipping option. Some things to keep in mind:
- We do not recommend USPS for time‑sensitive projects
- Transit times are not guaranteed and deliveries may take up to 3 weeks
- We will not be able to offer reprints on delayed USPS packages
- USPS must be used for Puerto Rico
Additional Options
We also offer a Third Party Shipping option and Customer Pickup from our print facility!
Calculated Shipping Costs
PrintsWell uses a Live Shipping Grid system to calculate shipping rates in real time during checkout. This ensures customers always receive the most accurate and up‑to‑date pricing based on the shipping carrier.
How the Pricing Works
During checkout, the system retrieves real‑time shipping rates based on:
- Package weight
- Package size
- Destination ZIP code
- Shipping method selected
Why Rates Vary
Shipping carriers dynamically adjust prices based on:
- Fuel surcharges
- Seasonal changes
- Package Weight & Size
- Distance of the destination zip code from our production facility (Pelham, AL)
- Service speed (Ground, Priority, Overnight, etc.)
Benefits of the Live Shipping Quotes
The Live Pricing provides real time shipping information to help you select the best option for your order, including:
- Accurate pricing in real time
- Carrier generated rates you can trust
- Compare shipping options at a glance
Important Notes
- USPS transit times are not guaranteed
- UPS and Amazon transit times are estimated but more reliable
- Carrier delays may impact delivery and are outside PrintsWell’s control
