Some customers may experience difficulty sealing envelopes made from heavier paper stock. This article provides tips to ensure a secure seal and guidance on next steps if issues persist.
Instructions:
Moistening the Glue Line:
Lightly dampen the glue line using an envelope-moistener or a Q-tip dipped in water.
Be careful to apply just enough moisture; do not soak the envelope.
Sealing the Envelope:
Fold the flap and press firmly along the edge.
Hold the flap in place for 10 seconds.
Slide the stack of envelopes under a book while the glue dries.
Alternative Options if Seal Fails:
Apply a glue stick along the flap, or
Use a strip of double-sided tape to secure the flap.
Additional Notes:
Difficulty sealing is common with heavier paper stock.
If issues continue, replacement envelopes or a credit may be offered.
